Job Responsibilities

• Inspect and verify that all raw materials and produced items meet required quality standards before approval.
• Ensure all products are up to standard and compliant with company specifications.
• Ensure compliance with Global SOPs and regularly report on quality situations and discrepancies.
• Consistently work in a safe manner with regard to self, co-workers, and manufacturing systems.
• Perform general housekeeping tasks and waste removal within the department and support other areas as required.
• Inspect materials, processes, and finished products to ensure compliance with company and customer quality standards.
• Ensure compliance with Global SOPs and regularly report on quality situations and discrepancies.
• Monitor and report quality KPIs such as CCR and COPQ for the site.
• Conduct periodic process checks to ensure required quality is maintained throughout production.
• Prepare, update, and implement quality management documents and procedures.
• Respond to customer complaints and propose corrective and preventive actions.
• Support process improvement projects to improve critical process parameters and reduce waste/rework.
• Promptly resolve any issues or discrepancies that may arise in the production flow.
• Actively participate in team decision-making, project work, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent preferred.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in quality control, preferably in the plastics/packaging industry.
• Certified Auditor or Certified Quality Analyst preferred.
• Experience with ISO 9001:2015 or other QMS systems is a plus.
• Strong decision-making and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent oral and written communication abilities.
• Proficiency in auditing, statistical analysis, and reporting.
• Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and technical aptitude.
• Computer literate (MS Office, QC software/tools).
