Quality Control Engineer

India

The Quality Control Engineer is responsible for ensuring that all products manufactured meet the established quality standards and specifications. This role involves implementing quality control processes, inspecting products, using CMM, analyzing data, and collaborating with production teams to ensure continuous quality improvement.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement quality control procedures and inspection plans to ensure product quality.
  • Conduct regular inspections and audits of manufacturing processes, raw materials, and finished products.
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards, customer requirements, and regulatory guidelines.
  • Maintain and update quality documentation such as standard operating procedures (SOPs), work instructions, and inspection records.
  • Utilize quality tools such as Six Sigma, FMEA, SPC, and root cause analysis to improve processes.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
  • 2-5 years of experience in quality control within a manufacturing environment.
  • Knowledge of quality management systems (QMS) such as ISO 9001, IATF 16949, or similar.
  • Ability to interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications, including GD&T principles.
  • Proficient in the operation of Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMM).
  • Experience using micrometers, calipers, and other dimensional measuring equipment.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
