Quality Control Inspector

We are Prowse Manufacturing Group, Inc. and we are currently in search for a Quality Inspector.

Schedule: 7am to 3:30pm; Monday-Friday
Salary: depending on experience.

JOB SUMMARY:
The Quality Inspector is responsible for measuring and inspecting machined and formed parts to determine SPEC requirements are met.

-The ability to read and understand aerospace engineering drawings and specifications with a STRONG grasp of GD&T.

- Dimensionally inspect manufactured parts and be able to detect defects/out of tolerances.

- Inspect manufactured parts and be able to produce First Article Inspection Reports.

- Able to use inspection tools such as calipers, bore gauges, pin gauges, micrometer, scales, eddy current, optical comparator, and Rockwell hardness tester.

- Able to proficiently program/operate a CMM.

- Be able to provide feedback to the machinists or assemblers.

- Be able to inspect using PCMs and formed metal parts.

- Be familiar with Boeing Specs

- Must be detail oriented.

- Performs daily duties and responsibilities without supervision.

- Maintains a clean and organized work area and follows all safety regulations.

- Other duties as assigned by the supervisor.
