Requirements
Key Responsibilities

Perform hands-on inspection of machined and fabricated component parts using precision measuring equipment, including calipers, micrometers, height gauges, CMMs, and related tools.

Interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, specifications, and work orders to verify conformance to requirements.

Conduct first-article, in-process, and final inspections to ensure product quality throughout the manufacturing cycle.

Accurately document inspection results, nonconformances, and corrective actions while maintaining complete and organized quality records.

Collaborate directly with machinists, supervisors, and production personnel to identify root causes and resolve quality issues in real time.

Support the maintenance and continuous improvement of the Quality Management System in accordance with ISO and/or AS quality standards.
Qualifications

Prior experience in a manufacturing or job shop environment with direct inspection responsibility.

Strong working knowledge of precision measurement tools and inspection techniques.

Proven ability to read and interpret technical drawings, GD&T, and specifications.

Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Comfortable using basic computer systems for documentation, reporting, and recordkeeping.

Familiarity with ISO 9001 and/or AS9100 standards preferred.
