Job Summary
The Quality Inspector performs in-process and final inspections of machined parts to ensure compliance with engineering drawings, customer requirements, and AS9100 standards. This role requires prior aerospace manufacturing experience and is ideal for candidates with strong foundational inspection skills seeking long-term growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform in-process and final inspections using calipers, micrometers, height gauges, and other precision tools
- Inspect parts to blueprints and GD&T requirements
- Accurately record inspection results and maintain quality documentation
- Identify, document, and report nonconforming material (NCRs)
- Support corrective actions and basic root cause analysis
- Verify work orders, material certifications, and traceability
- Follow AS9100 standards and internal quality procedures
- Maintain a clean and organized inspection area
Minimum Qualifications (Must-Have)
- 1–3 years of quality inspection experience in aerospace manufacturing
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and tolerances
- Hands-on experience with calipers and micrometers
- Familiarity with AS9100 or aerospace quality standards
- Strong attention to detail and documentation accuracy
Preferred Qualifications
- GD&T knowledge
- Experience with CMM or vision inspection systems
- Experience with nonconformance reporting (NCRs)
Work Environment / Physical Requirements
- Manufacturing/shop environment
- Standing for extended periods
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs

Pay: $27.00 - $33.00 per hour
