Quality Control Inspector I & II

What You'll Do

As a Quality Control Inspector I, II, you will be responsible for monitoring production processes, verifying quality standards, and supporting food safety initiatives throughout the facility.

Key responsibilities include:

• Conducting quality assurance, compliance and process monitoring throughout production
• Performing pre-operational and post-operational sanitation inspections
• Conducting and documenting sanitation and environmental swab testing
• Monitoring Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) and implementing corrective actions when necessary
• Inspecting production areas for compliance with food safety and quality requirements
• Label verification and process improvement
• Receiving, inspecting, and processing raw materials and ingredients
• Assisting with the training and development of QCI team members
• Completing quality records accurately and on time
• Participating in continuous improvement and food safety initiatives

What We're Looking For

Required Qualifications

• Must speak, read, and write English
• High school diploma or equivalent
• 1–3 years of experience in food manufacturing, or a related food production environment
• Knowledge of quality control and food safety practices
• Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Word and Excel
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds

Preferred Qualifications for QCI II

• Experience with GMP, HACCP, SQF, or other GFSI-recognized food safety systems
• Experience conducting inspections, audits, or quality assurance activities
• Prior experience training or mentoring employees
• Coursework or degree in Food Science, Microbiology, Chemistry, Biology, or a related field
• Spanish speaking skills are a plus
