Quality Control Lab Technician

• Overview -Perform quality control measures and maintain/retain records of results while supporting production in product processing and formulations.

• Responsibilities:· QC of all batches produced in production and communicate results to batch makers, production and lab
• · Compile and report QC data for head chemist
• · Retain and dispose of production samples
• · Produce samples (catalog base) as requested
• · Refill stock of raw materials and products as needed
• · Weekly maintenance and cleaning of lab equipment
• · Scanning and filing as required
• · Additional duties as assigned by Head Chemist

• Position Qualifications:
• *High School Diploma or GED required
• *1-2 years of experience working in a lab
• *Computer skills: knowledge of Microsoft Office and other relevant computer programs
• *Analytical and numerical skills: ability to perform mathematical calculations (add, subtract, divide) in a different unit of measurement: ability to us concepts such as fractions, percentages, and ratios
• *Strong attention to detail
• *Excellent organizational skills
• *Ability to perform physically demanding work such as moving and lifting equipment
• *Bilingual in English/Spanish a plus

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $17.00 - $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
