Ink Manufacturing Company is seeking for a highly motivated individual who will be responsible for performing chemical and physical analyses and testing required for quality control of products and processes to ensure compliance of our specification Quality Control technician is also responsible for adhering to the Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) that are in effect to assure the quality of the product manufactured.
RESPONSIBILITIES AND EXPECTATIONS
· Perform Physical and Chemical analyses of inkjet inks, dispersions, coatings, varnishes, and materials coming to the Lab for testing.
· Operate equipment needed to perform testing for quality control analyses.
· Maintaining digital documenting to record batch tracking.
· Generate reports for products that might have a concern or failed on quality.
· Calibration of Lab Equipment and keeping Calibration Logbooks current.
· Perform necessary adjustment calculations on batches when needed.
· Comply with company policies and procedures and maintains regular work attendance,
· Follows safety rules and regulations.
EDUCATIONAL/BACKGROUND REQUIREMENTS
· A 4-year degree in science, preferably in Chemistry or related field is desired.
· Computer proficiency is required.
· Strong communication, time management and organizational skills are required.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $17.00 - $18.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
