Quality Control Lead

Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Quality Control Lead to join our manufacturing team. Quality Management System (QMS) to ensure all injection molded plastic products meet customer specifications, regulatory standards, and internal performance objectives. This role provides strategic leadership in defect prevention, customer satisfaction, audit compliance, and cost control, while maintaining fiscal accountability for quality-related budgets and cost performance.

Responsibilities

• The quality manager will lead our Quality department and work cross-functionally with the rest of the company.
• Lead, mentor and manage a team of quiality control specialist.
• Develop and maintain ISO 9001/ AATF 16949 complaint QMS
• Collect and analyze data related to product quality, process performance, and inspection results to identify trends and areas for improvement.
• Maintain accurate documentation of inspection results, non-conformances, and corrective actions in accordance with quality management systems.
• Prepare and present quality control reports and metrics to senior management
• Participate in root cause analysis for quality issues and collaborate with manufacturing teams to implement corrective actions.
• Strong understanding of industry standards including ISO 13485

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

• Team leadership, must have 3 to 5 years of QC lead experience
• Experience with quality audits
• Familiarity with advanced inspection technologies like vision inspection systems.
• Continues improvement mindset
• Good problem-solving skills and organizational skills

Schedule

Monday to friday 8am to 4:30pm 9pm (onsite)

Pay: $24.00 - $29.00 per hour
