JOB PURPOSE:

The Quality Control Liaison is responsible for managing onsite customer quality demands and communicating customer quality requests to DOOWON Climate Control America management. This role interfaces with onsite quality inspectors, the customer’s quality team, and the DOOWON Quality Team as directed. This position will require use of a company phone for photos of defects and documentation.

Experience in automotive manufacturing and quality control is preferred but not required. We are willing to train the right candidate for this position.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

• Follow all instructions and directions provided by the Quality Supervisor.
• Perform incoming inspections as the primary responsibility.
• Upon completion of part inspections, sign label to confirm inspection verification and traceability.
• Immediately report any detected nonconformities to the Team Leader or Supervisor, including detailed defect descriptions.
• When defects occur, perform containment activities in accordance with training instructions.
• Follow the specified containment method as directed and do not leave the containment area without prior approval from the Team Leader.
• For returned pallets and/or parts, clearly document the reason for return and ensure proper shipment back to DOOWON with complete and accurate information.
• Conduct incoming inspections of sample parts and move inspected parts to the designated storage area.
• Share relevant inspection and storage information with the Quality Team.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Understanding of the automotive manufacturing industry preferred
• Strong attention to detail and communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Quality control or manufacturing experience is a plus

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS / WORKING CONDITIONS:

• Factory environment with noise from the manufacturing environment.
• Exposure to moving equipment, parts, and electrical. Possible injury due to carelessness around equipment.
• Daily lifting, carrying, bending, and/or moving objects up to 35 pounds.
