The Quality Control Manager will lead and oversee all Quality Control operations in the pharmaceutical manufacturing facility. The role is responsible for ensuring compliance with GMP and regulatory standards, managing QC teams, and maintaining high-quality testing, documentation, and release processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage all Quality Control activities in compliance with GMP, GLP, and regulatory requirements
- Oversee analytical and microbiological testing, data review, and product release activities
- Ensure compliance with DRAP, WHO, ISO, and other applicable regulatory standards
- Manage, train, and develop QC team members to maintain performance and compliance
- Review, approve, and maintain SOPs, test methods, protocols, validation documents, and investigation reports
- Ensure proper operation, calibration, and maintenance of analytical instruments
- Support internal and external audits, inspections, and regulatory visits
Experience & Qualification
- Minimum 15 years of total experience in Pharmaceutical Quality Control
- At least 5 years of experience in a managerial or supervisory QC role
- Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Biochemistry, Pharmacy, or a related discipline
Skills & Competencies
- Strong expertise in analytical techniques and instruments (HPLC, GC, UV, IR)
- Solid understanding of microbiological testing and quality compliance requirements
- In-depth knowledge of GMP, GLP, DRAP, WHO, and ISO standards
- Strong leadership, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
- Excellent documentation, reporting, and communication abilities
