Quality Control, R&D & Food Safety Manager
A growing kosher food manufacturer in Brooklyn is seeking an experienced professional to lead Quality Control, Research & Development, Food Safety, and Regulatory Compliance.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee quality control programs, inspections, and audits for raw materials, in-process production, and finished products.
- Ensure compliance with HACCP, GMP, FDA regulations, food safety standards, and quality management systems.
- Lead food safety initiatives, corrective actions, and continuous improvement programs.
- Manage regulatory compliance, food licensing requirements, audits, and inspections.
- Support product development and R&D, including formulation improvements and process enhancements.
- Collect, analyze, and document quality data, identify trends, and implement solutions.
- Collaborate with production and management teams to maintain the highest standards of quality and food safety.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in Quality Assurance, Quality Control, Food Safety, and R&D within a food manufacturing environment.
- Strong knowledge of HACCP, GMP, FDA regulations, food licensing, regulatory compliance, and audit procedures.
- Experience with quality management systems (QMS), inspections, and corrective action programs.
- Culinary degree, Chef certification, or equivalent professional culinary training preferred.
- Strong understanding of food manufacturing processes and product development.
- Excellent organizational, analytical, communication, and leadership skills.
Location: Brooklyn, NY
Pay: $53,485.53 - $64,412.68 per year
