Job Summary

The Quality Control Manager plays a critical role in overseeing quality standards within construction and installation services. Reporting directly to the Operations Manager, this role involves conducting thorough inspections, ensuring safety compliance, and addressing any material or installation discrepancies. The manager frequently visits job sites, works independently, and leads training initiatives to enhance installer safety and skills. Responsibilities

• Conduct quality inspections and report issues related to jobs and materials.
• Handle customer complaints and resolve related issues promptly.
• Train installers on safety protocols and quality standards.
• Review material usage to identify discrepancies or misuse.
• Enforce safety compliance on all job sites.
• Maintain detailed reports and documentation of quality findings.
• Collaborate with operations to implement quality improvements.

Required Qualifications

• 2+ years of insulation experience
• 2+ years of experience in quality control management
• Valid Florida Driver’s License
• Strong skills in inspection and safety compliance
• Excellent customer service and problem-solving abilities
• High attention to detail in all quality-related tasks
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
• Participation in training programs for skill development

Skills

• Proven experience in construction management with a strong focus on quality control management across diverse projects.
• Expertise in construction regulatory compliance including building codes (structural, plumbing, electrical, mechanical) and energy building codes.
• Proficiency with construction management software for tracking inspections, documentation, and project progress.
• Strong knowledge of construction safety regulations such as federal safety standards applicable to construction sites.
• Excellent analysis skills for interpreting technical drawings, construction plans, and specifications to ensure precise execution.
• Effective team leadership capabilities to guide inspectors and coordinate cross-functional teams toward shared quality goals.
• Skilled in data collection methods related to construction inspection processes for continuous improvement initiatives.
