  • Location: Onsite at Houston TX - US Main factory
  • Employment Type: Full-Time
  • Reports To: Operations Director

About the Company

We are a premier, specialized ESS industrial enclosure design and manufacturing

corporation with three decades of industry expertise. As an early pioneer in the sector, we

were instrumental in bringing advanced container manufacturing technologies to the

domestic market.

Today, we build custom-engineered structures for high-stakes industries including

aerospace, marine, defense, and energy. We also deliver comprehensive, high-safety

Energy Storage System (ESS) solutions worldwide. Driven by the swift expansion of the

global green energy sector, we focus on continuous innovation, product stabilization, and

portfolio diversification.

Role Summary

The Quality Control Manager ensures the safety, compliance, and long-term reliability of

our custom specialized containers and ESS enclosures throughout production,

deployment, and field operations. Supporting an "End-to-End Solution" business model,

this position oversees quality standards from initial design validation through

manufacturing, installation, and after-sales support.

Leveraging extensive proprietary field data—built from a legacy of over 30,000 deployed

units and 30GWh of global projects—the successful candidate will ensure products

withstand severe environmental challenges, including heavy thermal loads, seismic

activity, and extreme weather.

Key Responsibilities

  • Strategic Quality Leadership: Direct the comprehensive quality strategy for heavy

industrial enclosures and ESS products, aligning internal operations with

international standards and client requirements.

  • Team Management: Guide and develop the quality engineering team by

establishing clear performance metrics (KPIs) and cultivating an environment of

continuous improvement and accountability.

  • System Optimization: Build, refine, and maintain quality management systems

across production lines, external vendors, and field deployments.

  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner closely with procurement, engineering,

manufacturing, and project management to embed quality protocols into every

phase of the product lifecycle.

  • Issue Resolution (NCR/CAPA): Oversee the non-conformance management

workflow, spearheading root-cause analyses and verifying the execution of

corrective and preventive actions.

  • Continuous Improvement: Champion data-driven operational efficiency and

product reliability using Lean and Six Sigma methodologies.

  • Global Supplier Quality: Orchestrate vendor qualification, performance tracking,

regular audits, and overall supply chain quality development.

  • Testing & Certification: Manage product validation, strict environmental testing

protocols, and compliance certifications.

  • External Audit Management: Act as the primary point of contact for external

regulatory bodies, overseeing third-party and ISO certification audits.

  • Customer Relations: Serve as the chief escalation point for critical client-facing

quality issues, ensuring swift resolutions to preserve key partnerships.

  • Data Analytics: Leverage field and manufacturing metrics to provide actionable

insights that guide executive business decisions.

  • Crisis Management: Take ownership of high-impact, urgent quality incidents,

including providing support outside of standard business hours when essential.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Industrial,

Electrical, or a closely related discipline).

  • Experience: Minimum of 8 years in manufacturing quality assurance, with at least 3

years in a direct managerial or leadership capacity. Experience in the ESS, heavy

manufacturing, Automobile, or industrial equipment sectors is highly preferred.

  • Standards & Systems: Deep expertise in ISO 9001 frameworks and global

regulatory standards relevant to industrial and energy products.

  • Methodologies: Proven track record applying advanced quality tools, including

FMEA, APQP, SPC, RCA, and CAPA in complex manufacturing environments.

  • Technical Skills: Strong proficiency in interpreting engineering drawings, blueprints,

and technical specifications to build robust quality frameworks.

  • Language Proficiency: Bilingual fluency in English and Korean (both written and

verbal) is required.

  • Availability: Willingness to address critical, time-sensitive quality emergencies

outside of normal working hours.

  • Desirable Experience: Experience setting up and scaling quality operations within

brand-new or expanding manufacturing facilities.
