The Purchase–Quality Control (Purchase–QC) role is responsible for procuring materials and ensuring that all purchased items meet the company’s quality standards. This position manages vendor relationships, oversees incoming material inspection, and supports smooth supply chain operations.

Key ResponsibilitiesPurchase Responsibilities

  • Source and select reliable suppliers for materials and services.
  • Prepare and issue purchase orders based on company requirements.
  • Negotiate prices, delivery terms, and contracts with vendors.
  • Track purchase orders and ensure on-time delivery.
  • Maintain purchasing records, cost data, and supplier performance reports.
  • Coordinate with warehouse and production to forecast material requirements.

Quality Control Responsibilities

  • Inspect and verify the quality of incoming materials according to specifications.
  • Identify defective or non-conforming materials and take appropriate action.
  • Maintain QC documentation such as inspection reports and test records.
  • Communicate quality issues to suppliers and follow up on corrective actions.
  • Collaborate with production and engineering teams to improve quality standards.
  • Ensure compliance with quality policies, guidelines, and industry standards.

Skills Required

  • Knowledge of procurement procedures and supply chain operations.
  • Understanding of basic QC methods and inspection tools.
  • Strong negotiation and communication skills.
  • Good data management and documentation abilities
  • Attention to detail and problem-solving mindset.
  • 2+ years of relevant experience in quality control

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
