Job Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented Quality Control Inspector to join our growing team in the fleet and truck upfitting industry. This role is responsible for ensuring all upfitted vehicles meet company standards, customer specifications, and safety requirements before delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
- Inspect completed truck and fleet upfits for quality, accuracy, and workmanship
- Verify installations meet customer specs, work orders, and engineering drawings
- Identify defects, inconsistencies, or missing components and document findings
- Work closely with production teams to resolve quality issues quickly
- Perform final inspections prior to vehicle delivery
- Maintain inspection records and quality reports
- Ensure compliance with safety standards and company procedures
Qualifications:
- Previous QC inspection experience in automotive, manufacturing, or upfitting preferred
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Ability to read work orders, diagrams, and basic schematics
- Familiarity with hand tools, electrical components, and mechanical systems
- Strong communication skills and ability to work with production teams
- Valid driver’s license (required)
Preferred Experience:
- Fleet upfitting, truck equipment installation, or body shop experience
- Knowledge of wiring, lighting systems, hydraulics, or aftermarket installs
- Experience using QC checklists or inspection software

Monday–Friday (with occasional overtime as needed)
