Quality Control & Quality Assurance Technician

Education, Capability, and Experience Requirements:

· Minimum of a High School Degree

· Minimum of 1 (One) Year Working in a Food and Drug Administration (FDA) Regulated Industry (Food, Drugs, Supplements, Medical Device)

· Strong Technical Aptitude

· Extreme Level of Detail Orientation

· Excellent Writing Skills

· Ability to Read, Follow, Write. and Train Others on Written Procedures

· Ability to Remain Flexible with Regards to Hours and Schedule to Get the Job Done

· Skilled in Using Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook (E-mail)

· Ability and Interest in Being Promoted to Higher-Level Positions in QA/QC

Reports To:

QARA Manager

Direct Reports:

None

Duties and Responsibilities:

· Monitor Production to Ensure Compliance with Production, QARA, and Other Internal Procedures

· Responsible for Document Control Program

· Review/Approve Executed Batch Records

· Issue Batch Records and Labels

· Assist with Internal Audits

· Assist with Complaint Handling

· Perform In-Process and Finished Product Testing (Including Microbial Testing)

· Perform Raw Material and Component Receiving Inspection

· Miscellaneous Duties, As Assigned

Pay: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour

Education:

  • High school or equivalent (Required)

Experience:

  • Laboratory techniques: 1 year (Preferred)
  • FDA regulations: 1 year (Preferred)
  • Microbiology: 1 year (Preferred)
  • pharmaceutical manufacturing: 1 year (Preferred)
