Quality Control, Shipping & Delivery Technician– Luxury Yachting and Home Décor Workroom

About the Role:
We are seeking a dependable, detail-oriented, and physically capable individual to join our team as a Quality Control, Shipping & Delivery Technician. This position is essential to maintaining the exceptional standards our brand is known for. The ideal candidate will take pride in handling, inspecting, packaging, and delivering high-end products with precision and professionalism.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform thorough quality control inspections on handcrafted cushions, upholstery, and soft goods to ensure flawless presentation and construction.
  • Carefully package and prepare items for shipping while maintaining aesthetic and structural integrity.
  • Facilitate daily shipping and receiving operations, including preparing outgoing shipments, verifying incoming materials for accuracy and condition, and maintaining organized documentation and records.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient shipping and receiving area aligned with brand standards.
  • Complete occasional local deliveries and pickups (valid driver’s license required), providing timely and professional service.
  • Safely handle and transport premium materials and finished products.
  • Assist the workroom team with general physical tasks as needed.

Qualifications:

  • Ability to lift up to 75 lbs and perform physical, hands-on work, including navigating the stairs throughout the day.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and a respect for craftsmanship and high-end product handling.
  • Self-starter who proactively looks for ways to contribute without requiring constant direction.
  • Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
  • Professional, discreet, and presentable; this role may involve representing the company during deliveries.
  • Adaptable to shifting priorities throughout the day.
  • Competent in basic computer skills (e.g., Microsoft Outlook, basics of Microsoft Excel, navigating an iPad to take/share photos, using online scheduling software) or willingness to learn.
  • Prior experience in quality control, shipping, delivery, or warehouse environments preferred.
  • Basic carpentry or general handyman skills for aiding in facility maintenance, is a plus.
  • Fluent English communication skills required.

Schedule: 24-32 hours per week, Monday through Thursday (potential for 40-hours per week for the right individual)
