Quality Control Specialist - Commercial/Residential Landscaping

JOB SUMMARY:

The Quality Control Specialist will work with the vendors, engage with the local community representatives, assessing the work quality completed on behalf of Northsight Management, identifying deficiencies and developing solutions. Responsible for identifying and bidding on services to meet client needs. Prior commercial/residential landscaping, or property preservation experience is necessary, as well as reliable transportation to and from perspective communities. Located in Louisville KY.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

  • Inspect various Community properties via daily driving route to report and/or correct any field quality control issues (i.e., overgrowth not maintained on a section of the property).
  • Conducts on-site training to interpret client related specifications and company policies to 1099 vendors.
  • Engages and communicates directly with our clients’ local in-field representatives to ensure customer satisfaction is provided with our landscaping service.
  • Communicates daily with management to strategize and review vendor performance.
  • Communicates emergency situations to management and client team.
  • Other quality control and inspection related tasks assigned as needed.
  • Review inspection results (photos submitted).
  • Communicate findings with client teams.
  • Report bid items for additional services needed.
  • Ensure consistency of bid items submitted to the client.
  • Regular and predictable attendance and punctuality are essential functions of the position in order to facilitate collaboration and teamwork, timely client interaction and working with company equipment during scheduled business hours.
  • Other tasks as assigned.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 3+ years customer service
  • Minimum of 4 years of related experience in commercial and/or institutional projects. (required)
  • Strong communication skills; thorough and attentive to details; able to prioritize and multitask; proactive and deadline oriented.
  • Ability to interact effectively with clients, vendors, and employees at all levels of the organization.
  • Working knowledge of Excel, Word and Outlook.
  • Ability to read and understand work orders, safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
  • Good driving record and reliable transportation to assigned job locations.

TRAVEL: Travel is required, monthly vehicle mileage will be reimbursed it will also be provided in addition to base salary.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES: Supervision of other employees is not exercised.

WORK ENVIRONMENT & PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

This position requires reliable transportation, and the employee must be mobile and physically able to commute to various job sites and perform essential quality control job functions. The incumbent will be driving to various assigned property locations.
