Quality Control Specialist - Indianapolis

We're looking for talented, hard-working individuals to join our team as a Quality Control Specialist

Your success will support Advocate's march towards our goal - to become a Fortune 500 Company and the leader in the residential and commercial roofing space.

Key Responsibilities

Customer-Facing Duties

Conduct on-site investigations and address customer concerns.
  • Serve as the "face of construction" when requested by Sales or other internal teams.
  • Diagnose field issues and collaborate with stakeholders to implement corrective actions.
  • Self-perform minor repairs when feasible to streamline resolution.

Repair & Documentation

Create detailed work orders with step-by-step repair instructions and material lists.
  • Ensure documentation is clear, actionable, and contractor-ready.
  • Perform and document minor fixes in the field when appropriate.

Internal Collaboration

Attend virtual meetings to communicate findings and support planning.
  • Respond promptly to internal and job-related communications.
  • Provide timely updates, risk alerts, and follow-up insights.

Field Ownership & Accountability

Uphold company standards and professionalism on every job site.
  • Act as the primary communicator between field conditions and the office team.
  • Escalate safety or timeline-impacting issues with urgency and clarity.

What We're Looking For

Experience in residential construction, roofing, siding, and gutters..
  • Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and documentation abilities.
  • Technically sound, and able to perform repairs in roofing & siding
  • Great customer service skills

Requirements:

  • Valid Driver's License with a clean driving record
  • Ability to work 40 hours a week; Monday through Friday during specified hours; some overtime may be needed
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Ability to lift 45 lbs
  • Attention to detail with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work outside and continuously stand/walk for extended periods of time
  • Ability to work independently and confidently
