Quality Control Supervisor - Corrugated Carton Plant

Overview

Brief Role: Supervise all QC related activities including lab operation management, Incoming material testing/release, In-process Quality Checks, Customer complaints/Rejections handling, Factory card approvals and IMS documentation.

Responsibilities

1. Review Paper samples(from supply chain) evaluation reports
2. Review Raw material inspection report (paper shipments) on daily basis
3. Review Raw material inspection report (Inks, Pallets, Starch, PVA Glue) on daily basis
4. New Factory cards approval and record keeping as per procedure
5. Review/Update the Factory cards as per OMF request from sales
6. Update Customer NCRs, Customer Rejections, Internal NCRs and Vendor NCRs trackers on daily basis
7. Raise Customer complaints to concerned dept. with required details for analysis
8. Handle customer rejections - issue segregation form to production with required details to start the sorting prcess
9. Issue quality alert on the machines for any major issue faced by the customers
10. Ensure quality inspectors are doing FOC checks as per checklist
11. Ensure operators are doing in-process quality checks as per checklist
12. Raise Internal NCRs in SAP for internal holds/rejects
13. Prepare Monthly shift schedule for Line inspectors and lab technicians.
14. Daily Machine Audits regarding quality plan implementations on the production lines.
15. Daily meeting with quality inspectors about quality updates on the floor (Internal/external NCRs/Rejects)
16. Update the planning dept. about any internal holds due to quality defects on daily basis
17. Review the daily moisture contents report, glue viscosity report and Iodine test
18. Comply with the written policies, standards, rules and regulations of the Company.
19. Perform all other duties and activities assigned to them by their superiors within the realm of their knowledge provided it is
    not hazardous or dangerous to their person.
20. Follow health and safety regulations and procedures intended to prevent accidents or injury in workplaces or public
    environments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor Degree in Science or related field.
• 4 Years of experience as aQuality Supervisor or similar field.
