Quality Control Supervisor/Analyst

Quality Control Supervisor / Analyst:

International Nutrition manufactures nutritional and medicated premixes for livestock and poultry.

We are filling the position of Quality Control Supervisor / Analyst. This position will be responsible for Supervising the Quality Control Department and laboratory operations. This position reports directly to the Quality Assurance Manager and serves as a backup to the Quality Assurance Manager.

Specific Quality Control responsibilities include processing of manufacturing batch documentation and samples, interaction with contract laboratories, control of customer supplied documentation, departmental purchasing including vendor evaluations, and control of internal Quality Control and laboratory standard operating procedures.

Specific Analyst responsibilities include lab equipment maintenance and calibration, general laboratory analysis, laboratory inventory, and development of laboratory test methods.

Experience & Education Requirements:

A successful applicant will have technical and laboratory experience in food, feed or pharmaceutical industry, good math skills, high attention to detail, and strong computer skills (Word, Excel, general data entry). A degree in chemistry, biology or applied life sciences is required.
