Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Quality Control Team Member to join our manufacturing team. In this vital role, you will help uphold our commitment to excellence by ensuring products meet strict quality standards and regulatory requirements. Your proactive approach will support continuous improvement, safety, and customer satisfaction across all projects.
Duties
- Conduct thorough quality inspections using precision measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, vision inspection systems, and coordinate measuring machines to verify product specifications.
- Perform quality audits aligned with ISO 9001, regulations, and other relevant standards to ensure compliance throughout manufacturing processes.
- Collect and analyze data related to quality metrics, non-conformances, and process deviations to identify root causes and implement corrective actions.
- Support manufacturing teams by providing guidance on quality control procedures and best practices.
- Assist in maintaining and improving quality management systems by documenting procedures, conducting internal audits, and supporting external audits.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to foster a culture of continuous improvement focused on quality assurance and risk reduction.
Skills
- Flexibility to move between quality assurance tasks and hands-on production work when necessary
- Ability to read and interpret customer-supplied prints, specifications, and design standards
- Strong problem-solving skills to address quality issues promptly and effectively
- Ability to document quality issues clearly and consistently, and to update part-specific acceptability standards as required
- Proficiency in data entry and using production software for quality tracking and reporting
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to collaborate across departments and contribute to continuous improvement efforts
Preferred Qualifications - Training Provided
- Proven experience in a production quality role, with a strong understanding of quality control procedures and root cause analysis
- Familiarity with ISO 9001 quality standards and procedures is helpful
Shift Details
- Schedule: First Shift, Monday - Friday 6:00 am - 2:30 pm
