Quality Control Technician

Do you have a sharp eye for detail and a knack for staying organized? At Custom Fabricating & Supplies, we're looking for a Quality Control Technician who's ready to roll up their sleeves and help us make sure every product that leaves our facility meets our high standards-and our customers'.

This role plays a key part in our day-to-day operations, from inspecting materials and reviewing documentation to working with teams across the company to keep quality front and center.

What You'll Be Doing:

• Inspect incoming materials, in-process jobs, and finished parts
• Review documentation, certifications, and labels to make sure everything checks out
• Catch and document non-conforming items before they reach our customers
• Work closely with Purchasing, Sales, Engineering, and Operations to address any quality issues
• Support process improvements and continuous improvement initiatives
• Create and maintain Certificates of Conformance, RoHS certifications, and other quality documents
• Use and calibrate inspection tools like digital calipers, Scienscope systems, Durometers, and MicroVu
• Upload and manage quality-related documents and drawings in our system
• Help respond to customer questions around quality and compliance

What We're Looking For:

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• 1+ year of experience in a manufacturing or packaging environment (especially quality-related)
• Familiarity with inspection tools and quality standards
• Comfortable using Microsoft Word and Excel; ERP/CRM experience is a plus
• Excellent attention to detail, solid organizational skills, and a team-first mindset
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs and manage multiple priorities with a positive attitude
