Quality Control Technician

Position Overview

We are looking for a detail-oriented Quality Control Technician who will serve as the final checkpoint before a vehicle leaves our shop. This role is critical to maintaining our high standards and preventing comebacks. If you care about craftsmanship, accountability, and making sure every vehicle is safe and correct before delivery, this position is for you.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform final inspections on completed vehicles prior to customer pickup
• Verify all approved repairs were completed accurately and completely
• Road test vehicles to confirm proper operation and repair effectiveness
• Check for warning lights, stored fault codes, fluid leaks, abnormal noises, and drivability concerns
• Confirm torque specifications and safety-related repairs
• Ensure vehicles are clean and presentable before delivery
• Review repair orders for accuracy and completeness
• Communicate findings clearly with technicians and service advisors
• Identify potential workmanship concerns before vehicle delivery
• Assist in reducing comeback repairs and improving shop processes
• Help keep the shop clean and organized during downtime
• Shuttle customers when needed
• Make miscellaneous parts runs when necessary

Qualifications

• Basic to intermediate understanding of engines and vehicle systems
• Ability to perform road tests and accurately evaluate vehicle performance
• Ability to drive a manual transmission
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
• Ability to work independently and objectively
