Job Summary and Qualifications

The Quality Coordinator works under minimal supervision and is responsible for coordinating quality/performance improvement initiatives impacting core clinical and operational processes required for hospital licensure and accreditation. Conducts case review for quality assurance activities. The Quality Coordinator collects, monitors, and trends clinical and operational process and outcome data. Works collaboratively with physicians, nurses, and other professionals to identify and enhance quality issues that produce quantitative and qualitative results for internal and external customers. The Quality Coordinator is responsible for abstracting and collecting clinical data elements, maintaining required logs, and conducting chart reviews to ensure compliance with established nationally recognized and publicly reported quality patient outcomes as required by TJC, CMS QIO’s, other state and federal agencies, and other national data registries.

What qualifications you will need:
