About the Role
A Touch of Home Childcare is seeking a passionate, experienced early childhood professional to join our leadership team as a Quality & Curriculum Coordinator. This position plays a vital role in ensuring high-quality learning experiences for children by supporting teachers, maintaining curriculum fidelity, ensuring licensing compliance, and promoting excellence in every classroom.
The ideal candidate is a strong leader, coach, and mentor who is passionate about early childhood education and dedicated to helping teachers grow professionally while maintaining exceptional program quality.
What You’ll Do
Curriculum & Program Quality
Support and monitor implementation of Creative Curriculum in all classrooms.
Ensure daily schedules, routines, and lesson plans are followed consistently.
Guide teachers in planning developmentally appropriate learning experiences.
Support and monitor Teaching Strategies GOLD (TS GOLD) documentation and assessment processes.
Conduct classroom observations and provide coaching and feedback.
Staff Coaching & Mentoring
Build positive relationships with teaching staff through ongoing support and mentorship.
Model best practices in teacher-child interactions and classroom management.
Assist with onboarding and training new team members.
Encourage professional growth through coaching and development opportunities.
Licensing & Compliance
Ensure classrooms maintain compliance with state licensing regulations and center policies.
Conduct routine quality assurance and classroom compliance checks.
Support staff in maintaining health, safety, supervision, and documentation requirements.
Assist during licensing inspections and audits.
Leadership Responsibilities
Serve as a member of the center leadership team.
Assist with daily operations and problem-solving.
Support conflict resolution among staff and families when needed.
Act as Director in the Director’s absence to ensure smooth center operations.
Qualifications
Degree in Early Childhood Education or related field preferred.
Minimum 3 years of experience in a licensed childcare setting.
Strong knowledge of Creative Curriculum and Teaching Strategies GOLD.
Thorough understanding of childcare licensing regulations.
Experience coaching, mentoring, or supervising staff preferred.
Strong communication, organizational, and leadership skills.
Ability to build positive relationships with children, families, and staff.
CPR, First Aid, and required clearances/certifications.
