Quality Engineer

At Advantage Technical, we’re seeking a Quality Engineer in Woburn, MA, to be part of a collaborative, forward-thinking team.

Salary: $80,000 - $120,000/yr.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support supplier qualification, monitoring, and evaluation to ensure compliance with AS9100, customer, and regulatory requirements.
• Review supplier First Article Inspections (FAIs) and related documentation for accuracy and completeness.
• Assist with audits, corrective actions, and continuous improvement activities.
• Investigate and help resolve supplier quality issues, including nonconformances and root cause analysis.
• Maintain and update supplier quality records, reports, and metrics.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Purchasing, and Production teams to drive supplier quality improvements.
• Participate in internal quality management functions such as calibration, engineering change, and internal audits.

Qualifications:

• Education and/or experience in Engineering, Manufacturing, or a related technical field.
• Strong attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
• Familiarity with quality systems (AS9100, ISO 9001) and aerospace standards preferred but not required.
