Key Responsibilities:
- Identify technical problems with suppliers and implement corrective actions.
- Serve as the supplier liaison and manage the supply chain for Distribution Centers and Manufacturing sites.
- Monitor supplier performance and ensure quality and delivery requirements are met.
- Support quality reliability initiatives and product transition requirements.
- Participate in local quality audits and regulatory compliance audits.
- Maintain the Suppliers Quality Ranking System locally.
- Conduct supplier meetings to review performance metrics and manage process controls.
- Maintain accurate quality records, certifications, and database screens.
- Prioritize and resolve critical customer complaints related to delivered products.
- Support quality improvement projects at internal or external sites.
Basic Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in a technical/science field; Master’s degree preferred.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in supplier/supply chain quality roles. Experience with Distribution Centers and product manufacturing is preferred.
- Strong technical knowledge of products, systems, and complex integrated solutions.
- In-depth understanding of quality standards and improvement methods.
- Experience with Lean and Six Sigma methodologies; certification is a plus.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to follow through on plans.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a cross-cultural environment.
- Must be a U.S. citizen with a valid passport.
Preferred Skills:
- Six Sigma Green Belt certification.
- Proficiency in Google Suite, Minitab, and SAP.
- Familiarity with basic quality tools (5 Whys, Fishbone, Histogram).
Job Type: Contract
Pay: $20.00 - $33.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
