Quality Engineer

Key Responsibilities:

• Identify weld defects using NDT procedures and implement corrective actions for rework/repair. Proficiency in PQR, WPS, and WPQR is essential. The candidate should be capable of handling both clients and contractors independently.
• Prepare and maintain necessary documentation.
• Perform daily weld visual inspections for duct offerings.
• Address welding-related issues and propose solutions.
• Prepare welding procedures and quality plans.
• Ensure proper calibration and maintenance of in-house equipment, keeping accurate records.
• Maintain a log register for welding parameters used during production.
• Track the usage of consumables such as filler wire, tungsten electrodes, gas, etc.
• Oversee the proper functioning of all welding accessories.
• Coordinate with clients for inspection report sign-offs.
• Monitor and report daily activities of welders.
• Evaluate dye penetrant testing results.
