Quality Engineer II

As a Quality Engineer II here at Solstice Advanced Materials , you will play a critical role in ensuring the successful execution of quality control / assurance activities and the delivery of high-quality products, frequently interact with customers, defining expectations and ensure offering required support to all customers (internal and external). You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement quality processes, ensuring that all products meet or exceed industry standards and customer requirements. You will report directly to our Sr Quality Control Manager, and you’ll work out of our Geismar, LA location.

In this role, you will impact the overall safety, quality, and reliability of our products, ensure customer satisfaction and drive continuous improvement in our manufacturing and quality management system processes.



KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Develop and implement quality processes to ensure product safety, quality and reliability
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve product quality related issues
  • Conduct quality audits and inspections to ensure compliance with all applicable contracts, standards, statues, and requirements
  • Analyze data and implement preventative and corrective actions to improve overall quality management systems.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance quality processes
  • Interact with customers resolving quality, delivery, and reliability concerns / feedback.
  • Supports tracking, trending, and reporting quality metrics
  • Other duties as required to support the site

YOU MUST HAVE

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution in technical discipline such as science, technology, or engineering, preferably Chemistry or Biology
  • 3-5 years of experience in quality assurance or a similar role.
  • 3+ years of direct analytical experience in a chemical manufacturing environment
  • Direct experience supporting ISO 9001:2015
  • Professional communication and presentation skills
  • Stronge knowledge of data analysis and SPC techniques.
  • Strong knowledge of quality principles, methodologies, and tools
  • Able to obtain a TWIC
Must be able to lift 25 lbs.

WE VALUE

  • Trained lead auditor in ISO 9001
  • Direct experience supporting quality management systems and processes (IATF 16949, cGMP, EXCiPACT, and/or ISO 22000 (FSSC 22000))
  • Six Sigma Green belt is preferred
  • Direct experience in supplier quality management programs
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Experience in eQMS (electronic quality management systems)
  • Experience in customer complaint management
Experience in SAP

COMPENSATION

The annual base salary range for this position is $84775-$105940k. Please note that this salary information serves as a general guideline. Solstice Advanced Materials considers various factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to the scope and responsibilities or the position, the candidate's work experience education and training, key skills, as well as market and business considerations.
