Quality Engineer Intern

Summary of Position:


This internship works with various engineers for project-based assignments in the Engineering Department.


Duties and Responsibilities:


  • Will be working closely with the Engineering Department.
  • Will be assisting in updating paperwork as needed
  • Will be assisting in updating test fixtures as needed.

Skill Set Required:


  • To be eligible for a 2026 engineering internship, you must meet the following basic requirements:
  • Working towards a degree in an engineering major (preferred) with an anticipated graduation date of Winter 2026 or Spring 2027.
  • Legally authorized to work in the U.S on a full-time basis and do not require sponsorship.
  • Participants must be able to participate full time (40 hrs/week) as part of our internship.
  • Relevant academic projects, internship or lab experience required.
  • Technical writing skills highly desired.
  • Experience with statistics and data analysis.
  • Strong problem-solving skills
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to think and work independently
  • Be a team player, who is self-motivated, proactive, willing to learn and a problem solver.
  • Knowledge of one of more of the following technologies: AutoCAD and SolidWorks, Microsoft Suite, MRP Systems
  • Minimum of 3.0 out of a 4.0 cumulative GPA

Physical Requirements:


  • Restrictions limited only by individual’s inability to perform essential job duties and where an unsafe condition would result for the individual or surrounding employees
  • Required lifting weight: 20 lbs. Lifting Frequency: Rarely
  • Sitting, standing, reaching, bending, and moving for extended periods of time
  • Working with computers, test equipment and calibration processes
  • Manufacturing environment
  • Requires working indoors in environmentally controlled conditions
  • Requires wearing common protective or safety equipment as needed
  • Includes exposure to sounds and noise levels that are distracting or uncomfortable
  • Requires repetitive movement Works with power tools and equipment
  • Requires the use of proper PPE when necessary.
