Quality Executive

Quality Manager/ Quality in Charge

JOB SUMMARY

The Quality Executive is responsible for implementing and monitoring quality assurance programs within the hospital to ensure compliance with healthcare standards, patient safety protocols, and accreditation requirements. The role involves coordinating audits, improving clinical and non-clinical processes, monitoring quality indicators, and supporting continuous quality improvement initiatives.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Quality Management

· Implement and maintain hospital quality standards and protocols

· Monitor compliance with JCI, DHA, MOH, or other applicable healthcare standards

· Support accreditation activities and documentation processes

· Conduct internal audits and quality assessments across departments

Patient Safety & Compliance

· Monitor patient safety indicators and incident reporting systems

· Assist in root cause analysis (RCA) and corrective/preventive actions (CAPA)

· Ensure infection control and patient care quality measures are followed

· Coordinate quality improvement and risk management initiatives

Documentation & Reporting

· Maintain quality records, policies, SOPs, and audit reports

· Prepare monthly quality dashboards and MIS reports

· Analyse quality metrics and recommend improvements

Training & Coordination

· Conduct staff training on quality standards, patient safety, and compliance procedures

· Coordinate with clinical and non-clinical departments for quality initiatives

· Support awareness programs related to quality and patient care excellence

Continuous Improvement

· Identify process gaps and recommend operational improvements

· Monitor patient feedback and complaint resolution processes

· Participate in quality committee meetings and hospital inspections

REQUIRED SKILLS

· Knowledge of hospital quality standards and accreditation processes

· Understanding of JCI/MOH healthcare guidelines

· Strong analytical and documentation skills

· Good communication and interpersonal abilities

· Attention to detail and problem-solving skills

· Proficiency in MS Office and hospital management systems

QUALIFICATIONS

· Bachelor’s degree in healthcare administration, Nursing, Pharmacy, Life Sciences, or related field

· Certification in Healthcare Quality preferred

· 1–3 years of experience in hospital quality or healthcare operations

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE

· Experience in multispecialty hospitals or healthcare facilities

· Familiarity with quality audits and patient safety standards
