Key Responsibilities ​

● Raw Material Inspection: Verifying the chemical composition of incoming steel billets (checking levels of Carbon, Sulphur, and Phosphorus) using Spectrometer analysis. ​In-Process

●Monitoring: Controlling the "Rolling Temperature" (usually around 1100^\circ\text{C}) and the quenching water pressure to ensure the TMT process creates the correct "Martensite" rim.

●​Mechanical Testing: Conducting mandatory tests such as: ​Yield Strength &

●Tensile Strength: To ensure the bar can handle heavy loads. ​Bend & Re-bend

●Tests: To check for cracks when the bar is shaped at construction sites. ​

●Elongation: To ensure the bar is flexible enough to withstand earthquakes. ​

●Dimensional Accuracy: Checking the diameter, weight per meter, and rib pattern (the "grips" on the bar) against IS Standards (e.g., IS 1786 in India). ​

●Certifications: Preparing Test Certificates (TC) for customers and maintaining ISO/BIS documentation.
