Job Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Quality Inspector to join our dynamic manufacturing team. Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough inspections of raw materials, in-process components, and finished products using precision measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, and vision inspection systems.
- Utilize advanced measurement tools including coordinate measuring machines (CMM) to verify dimensional accuracy and geometric tolerances.
- Perform quality audits in accordance with ISO 13485, ISO 9001, and other relevant standards to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements such as FDA regulations.
- Document inspection results accurately through detailed data collection and reporting, supporting traceability and quality management systems.
- Identify non-conformities or deviations from specifications; initiate corrective actions following established QA/QC procedures.
- Collaborate with manufacturing teams to resolve quality issues promptly and implement process improvements aligned with CGMP (Current Good Manufacturing Practices) and HACCP principles where applicable.
- Support ongoing calibration and maintenance of precision measuring instruments to guarantee measurement accuracy.
Skills
- Strong knowledge of quality assurance principles, quality control techniques, and quality management systems.
- Experience working within manufacturing environments adhering to ISO 13485, ISO 9001, CGMP, and HACCP standards.
- Proficiency in using Calypso software for data analysis and reporting is a plus.
- Familiarity with FDA regulations related to medical devices or food safety is highly desirable.
- Skilled in operating precision measurement instruments such as calipers, micrometers, vision inspection systems, and coordinate measuring machines (CMM).
- Excellent analysis skills to interpret inspection data and identify root causes of quality issues.
- Ability to perform comprehensive quality audits and participate in internal or supplier audits effectively.
