Quality Inspector

Shift:

Days

Monday - Thursday, 7am-5pm

Job Description:

Ensure that products and components meet company and customer quality standards.

This role plays a key part in meeting customer satisfaction by:

- Maintaining product integrity

- Reducing defects, and ensuring compliance with specifications and safety requirements.

Roles and Responsibilities

- Perform the inspection per the work instructions (visual, dimensional, and functional checks using inspection tools and equipment if indicated.)

- Record inspection results accurately and maintain quality documentation.

- Identify non-conformities, segregate defective products, communicate issues to team leaders, quality techs and escalate as needed.

- Use the color-coded bins per the Nonconformance process.

- Ensure compliance with company policies, quality standards and customer requirements.

- Participate in root cause analysis and continuous improvement activities as required.

- Maintain a clean and organized inspection area following 5S and safety guidelines.

- Be at your workstation per your schedule and follow the employee handbook.
