INNEX is a precision machine shop producing tight-tolerance components in steel, carbide, and ceramics. We are seeking a mid-level Quality Inspector who can independently manage inspection responsibilities, make sound accept/reject decisions, and help maintain consistent quality standards across the shop.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform first article, in-process, and final inspections independently
• Read and interpret blueprints and GD&T accurately
• Use standard inspection equipment (micrometers, calipers, height gauges, pin gauges, optical comparator) with confidence
• Evaluate part conformance and make appropriate accept/reject decisions
• Communicate issues clearly and escalate when necessary
• Work closely with machinists and operations to address quality concerns in real time
• Support adherence to established quality procedures and inspection standards
• Maintain accurate inspection records and documentation

Qualifications

• 3–5+ years of inspection experience in a machining environment
• Strong working knowledge of GD&T and tight-tolerance inspection
• Ability to make independent, well-reasoned quality decisions
• Practical understanding of production environments and workflow
• Clear and effective communication skills
• Reliable, consistent, and accountable
• Must be able to read and interpret GD&T during the interview process

Preferred Experience

• Carbide and/or ceramic components
• ISO 9001 or structured QMS environments
• First article reporting and basic root cause analysis

Additional Information
This is not an entry-level role. The position requires an individual who can operate independently and take ownership of inspection outcomes.
