About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Quality Inspector with strong experience in steel fabrication and excellent communication skills in Mandarin and English. The ideal candidate will ensure that all fabricated steel products meet engineering standards, international quality requirements, and customer specifications.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct incoming, in-process, and final inspections for steel structures and fabricated components.
• Verify dimensions, welding quality, and compliance with drawings and QC procedures.
• Prepare inspection reports, NCRs, and documentation as required.
• Coordinate with engineering, production teams, and clients to resolve technical issues.
• Communicate effectively with Mandarin-speaking clients and suppliers.
• Ensure all work follows ISO, safety standards, and project specifications.

Requirements

• Diploma/Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• 3–5 years’ experience in steel fabrication or structural steel.
• Strong knowledge of welding processes, symbols, and fabrication standards.
• Ability to read engineering drawings and perform dimensional checks.
• Fluent in Mandarin and English (written & spoken).
• Experience with NDT (VT/MT/PT/UT) is an advantage.
• Strong attention to detail and documentation skills.
