Duties
- Conduct comprehensive chemical, microbiological, histological, molecular biology, and other laboratory tests following established protocols and GLP (Good Laboratory Practice) standards
- Perform routine quality control assessments on raw materials, in-process samples, and finished products in accordance with FDA regulations and CGMP (Current Good Manufacturing Practice) guidelines
- Maintain accurate documentation of all laboratory procedures, test results, and data collection using Laboratory Information Management Systems (LIMS)
- Support research & development projects by preparing samples, executing experiments, and analyzing data to drive product improvements
- Ensure compliance with safety protocols related to microbiology, veterinary terminology, and laboratory procedures while maintaining a clean and organized workspace
- Assist in validation of laboratory techniques and methods to ensure reliability and reproducibility of results
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot issues related to analysis techniques or laboratory equipment
Experience
- Proven industrial laboratory experience working within quality control or research laboratories in regulated environments such as pharmaceutical, biotech, or veterinary sciences
- Strong understanding of GLP, CGMP, FDA regulations, microbiology techniques, histology procedures, molecular biology methods, and scientific research practices
- Experience with Laboratory Information Management Systems (LIMS) for data entry and management
- Familiarity with laboratory techniques including analysis skills in chemistry, microbiology, histology, molecular biology, and related disciplines
- Knowledge of veterinary terminology and clinical laboratory procedures is a plus
- Demonstrated ability to collect accurate data, follow detailed laboratory procedures, and apply math skills for analysis purposes
- Prior experience working in research laboratories or clinical settings that require meticulous attention to detail and adherence to regulatory standards
