Quality Manager

The Role

• Develop, implement, and maintain the factory’s Quality Management System (QMS) in line with ISO standards. • Monitor and control quality across all production stages of plasterboard manufacturing. • Lead quality inspections, material testing, and final product approvals. • Identify defects, root causes, and implement corrective and preventive actions. • Train and supervise QA/QC staff to ensure consistent quality performance. • Coordinate with production, maintenance, and supply chain teams to resolve quality issues. • Ensure compliance with local and international building material standards. • Prepare and present quality reports, KPIs, audits, and improvement plans. • Manage customer complaints and provide technical support for quality-related matters.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or related field. • Minimum 5–8 years of experience in quality management within a plasterboard, gypsum, or building materials factory. • Strong knowledge of ISO 9001 and other relevant quality standards. • Hands-on experience with manufacturing processes, lab testing, and production lines. • Excellent analytical, leadership, and problem-solving skills. • Strong communication and team-coordination abilities.
