Quality Manager

Quality Standard, inspection, and recording and reporting method establishment. Ensure internal quality standards comply to industry standard practices. Review, interpret, and implement customer quality standards in accordance with customer supplied documentation and specifications. Resolve conflict between design/manufacturing practices and customer quality expectations. Ongoing quality standard compliance monitoring. Quality issue resolution through coordination with manufacturing and engineering. Primary quality interface with customers to resolve quality problems. Manage and supervise quality department personnel.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities:

1) Application & interpretation of industry standard quality requirements

2) Specification and contract review ensuring correct quality requirements are applied

3) Ongoing compliance to established quality program requirements

4) Establish quality goal objectives and monitor progress

5) Analyze collected data, implement corrective action, and monitor improvement

6) Primary interface to resolve customer quality issues

7) Coordinate and supervise activities of QE and all inspection personnel

8) Conflict resolution between quality, production, and engineering.

Job Specifications:

1) Ongoing knowledge of most recent electronics packaging and assembly methods

2) Ability to analyze and apply collected data for systemic corrective action in coordination with Quality Director

3) Constructive interaction for process improvement between manufacturing and engineering

4) Elevated reasoning skill to identify systemic nonconformities

5) Maintain proper professional conduct, communication skills, and ability to interface with customers

The Quality Manager is the primary representative of quality within the company. This position requires exceptionally

advanced communication skills between internal personnel and customers. It requires a constant, ongoing evaluation and

assessment of the quality program not only in proper standards application but also the ability to adapt and implement

changing customer expectations.
