The Health, Safety, Environment, Quality, Regulatory (HSEQR) team ensures and further develops compliance of IMCD regarding regulatory, quality, and broader ethical and sustainability requirements.

About the role

Reporting to the HSEQR Manager, our Quality Officer will be pivotal in ensuring that IMCD complies with relevant regulations, legislation and reporting requirements by maintaining the Quality Management system.

• Streamline processes for quality events, document control and overall compliance management, including the update and implementation of internal procedures
• Assist in internal audits of quality systems and procedures to identify areas of improvement.
• Assist in non-conformance reporting (NCR) management, driving corrective and preventive actions
• Lead product label process for third party logistics
• Maintain product and manufacturing site documentation (e.g., SDS, product specifications, site validation/qualification)

About you Qualification

Tertiary Qualification in Science, Chemistry, or equivalent

Experience

Prior experience with QMS in a similar role would put you a step above the rest, but not a requirement.

• Well developed communication skills - you will be communicating and building relationships across all levels within and outside IMCD.
• A can do attitude - our values are central to all that we do. You will go a long way if you use your initiative and are happy to roll your sleeves up and support the wider team while being able to work independently.
• Resilient, able to multi task and work under pressure - No two days are the same. We work at a fast pace, and often encounter tight deadlines. You will have demonstrable experience in working to an excellent standard when under pressure, adapting to complex or challenging situations as they arise and being able to prioritise deadlines.
