Quality Team Lead

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor the quality assurance team to uphold rigorous standards aligned with OSHA (Occupational Safety and Health Administration) guidelines, FDA (Food and Drug Administration) regulations, and other relevant compliance requirements.
• Develop, implement, and monitor quality control procedures within logistics, supply chain management, and transportation operations.
• Conduct regular audits of freight handling, fleet management, and transportation processes to identify areas for improvement and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Manage risk assessments related to logistics operations, including freight safety, regulatory reporting, and compliance management initiatives.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize supply chain workflows while maintaining strict adherence to safety protocols and regulatory standards.
• Prepare detailed reports on quality metrics, audit findings, incident investigations, and compliance status for senior leadership.
• Facilitate ongoing training sessions on OSHA standards, safety procedures, and regulatory updates to promote a culture of safety awareness.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in quality management within logistics or supply chain environments.
• Strong knowledge of OSHA safety standards, FDA regulations related to logistics or manufacturing sectors, and freight handling protocols.
• Familiarity with transportation management systems (TMS), fleet management practices, and regulatory reporting requirements.
• Excellent report writing skills with the ability to analyze data and present actionable insights clearly.
• Demonstrated ability to lead teams effectively while fostering a proactive approach to risk management and compliance.
• Experience in logistics coordination, supply chain oversight, or freight operations is highly desirable.

Pay: $75,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
