Quality Technician

Duties

• Conduct thorough quality inspections using precision measuring instruments and vision inspection systems to verify product dimensions and specifications.
• Perform detailed quality audits in accordance with our quality management system and other relevant standards to ensure compliance across manufacturing processes.
• Utilize data collection tools and analysis skills to identify trends, root causes of defects, and areas for process improvement.
• Affix tags and other documentation to approved or rejected product.
• Assist in maintaining and updating quality documentation, records, and reports to support internal audits and external regulatory inspections.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams during quality assurance activities to implement corrective actions and improve overall product quality.
• Calibration and maintenance of gauge control system.
• Complies with housekeeping requirements and health and safety rules established by the Company and OSHA.

Skills

• Excellent communications skills both in writing and speaking.
• Blueprint reading.
• Knowledge of quality control techniques including visual inspection systems, use of measuring equipment and data collection methods.
• Ability to perform comprehensive quality audits and analyze inspection data effectively.
• Excellent computer skills.
• Knowledge of calibration procedures.
• Excellent attention to detail combined with strong analysis skills to identify deviations from specifications promptly.
• Effective communication skills for documenting findings clearly and collaborating with team members on corrective actions. Pay: $18.00 - $19.00 per hour
