Quantitative Developer

Earlier this year, my client launched a DeFi trading desk and they’re now building the technical team. They are looking for a Tech Lead to help architect and scale the DeFi infrastructure from the ground up.

This is a rare opportunity to be among the first technical hires in a fast growing business, taking ownership of key production systems and working directly with the founders. As they scale, they expect to introduce Rust for performance-critical components

The business who are super profitable were founded 5 years ago and you will join a team of over 50 individuals the business and 3 other in the DeFI team, working directly with the founder who has a massive track record of growing and building amazing businesses. Your responsibilities will be the below:

• Scale DeFi trading infrastructure
• Integrate DeFi protocols and smart contracts
• Build and scale data pipelines for event processing
• Design and develop new microservices as trading desk expands
• Own system architecture
• Always looking to optimise performance, potentially looking to use of Rust for low-latency paths
• Contribute to technical decisions as a hands on engineering leader

To be considered for this role you should have significant experience developing trading systems in Python and also strong experience developing DeFi applications.

This is a hybrid role in Dubai and the salary and package is completely negotiable depending on experience.
