Quantities Engineer

  • Prepare quantity take-offs, BOQs, and cost estimates.
  • Monitor project costs and track expenditures against the budget.
  • Evaluate variations, claims, and change orders.
  • Review contractor payments, invoices, and interim valuations.
  • Coordinate with design and site teams to ensure cost alignment.
  • Support procurement processes, including tendering and bid evaluation.
  • Maintain cost reports and provide regular updates to management.
  • Assist in contract administration and ensure compliance with contractual terms.


Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Quantity Surveying, or related field.
  • 5–8 years of experience in cost control or quantity surveying in construction projects.
  • Strong knowledge of BOQs, contracts, and cost management practices.
  • Experience in handling variations, claims, and payment certifications.
  • Good analytical and reporting skills.
  • Strong communication and coordination skills.
  • Proficiency in relevant software (Excel, cost management tools).
  • Fluent in English (Arabic is a plus).
