Quantity Surveying (QS) Engineer

Responsible for cost planning, estimation, billing, budgeting, and contract administration to ensure cost-effective project delivery with required quality and compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare BOQs, cost estimates, and rate analyses for civil, finishing, and MEP works.
• Evaluate and certify contractor/vendor bills and claims.
• Track budgets vs. actuals and report cost variances.
• Support procurement with tendering, bid evaluation, and contract negotiation.
• Manage variations/change orders and maintain proper documentation.
• Prepare monthly cost reports, cash flow forecasts, and value engineering inputs.
• Coordinate with project teams, consultants, and clients for cost-related matters.

Skills & Competencies:

• Strong knowledge of construction methods, contracts (FIDIC), and cost control.
• Proficient in MS Excel, AutoCAD, and estimation tools.
• Good analytical, negotiation, and reporting skills.

Qualification:

• B.E./B.Tech in Civil Engineering
• PG/Certification in Quantity Surveying or Contracts Management (preferred)
