Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor with expertise in rebar/reinforcement works to join our client’s construction team. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in rebar quantity take-offs, BOQs, cost estimation, and site coordination related to reinforcement activities.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed quantity take-offs and BOQs for rebar/reinforcement works.
• Review structural drawings and identify discrepancies or variations.
• Conduct cost estimation, budgeting, and forecasting for reinforcement works.
• Verify subcontractor invoices and progress claims related to reinforcement.
• Liaise with engineers, site teams, and procurement to ensure accurate material quantification.
• Support tendering, bidding, and contract administration for rebar-related works.
• Monitor site progress and provide regular cost and material usage reports.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree/Diploma in Civil Engineering or Quantity Surveying.
• Minimum 5 years of experience as a Quantity Surveyor in the UAE/Gulf region.
• Strong knowledge of rebar/reinforcement measurement, detailing, and costing.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, MS Excel, and relevant QS software.
• Familiarity with FIDIC contracts and construction standards.
• Excellent analytical, negotiation, and communication skills.
