Job Title: Quantity Surveyor – Civil Building Works

Location: NCR (National Capital Region)
Experience Required: 5+ Years

Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Quantity Surveyor with a strong background in civil building works. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 7 years of experience in quantity surveying, cost estimation, and contract management related to large-scale civil construction projects.

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare, review, and monitor project budgets and cost estimates.
Conduct quantity take-offs and prepare BOQs (Bill of Quantities).
Evaluate and negotiate contracts, variations, and claims.
Monitor and control project costs to ensure completion within budget.
Collaborate with engineers, architects, and contractors to ensure accurate quantity and cost assessments.
Assist in procurement planning and vendor selection.
Prepare progress reports and payment certifications.
Ensure compliance with relevant codes, standards, and legal requirements.

Requirements:

Bachelor’s Degree/Diploma in Civil Engineering or a related field.
Minimum 7 years of experience as a Quantity Surveyor in civil building projects.
Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and regulations.
Proficient in MS Excel, AutoCAD, and quantity surveying software.
Excellent analytical, negotiation, and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience working on government or large-scale infrastructure projects in the NCR region.
Knowledge of FIDIC or similar contract management frameworks.
