Quantity Surveyor

Overview: We are seeking a skilled Quantity Surveyor to join our dynamic team. As a Quantity Surveyor, you will be responsible for managing all project billings and payment certificates, from the initial calculations to the final figures. You will seek to all payment certificates submitted and approved in a timely manner while coordinating with site staff to ensure accuracy.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare project bills of quantities.
• Monitor ongoing project costs against budgets and provide advice on cost-effectiveness.
• Perform quantity takeoffs from project drawings when necessary.
• Maintain awareness of the different projects currently underway.
• Ensure timely submission and accuracy of valuation certificates.

Skills and Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, or related field.
• Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor or in a similar role.
• Strong analytical skills with a keen eye for detail.
• Excellent negotiation and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in relevant software tools (e.g., Excel, AutoCAD, QS Software).
• Understanding of construction contracts and legal requirements.
• Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines.
